Match Cut Maker is a free browser tool for making text match cut videos: fast cuts between newspaper-style frames while one highlighted word stays fixed in the center.
Editors and creators usually build this effect by hand, frame by frame, which takes a long time for a three-second clip. This tool does the layout, blur, zoom, timing and sound for you, so you only supply the word.
The page draws every frame on an HTML canvas and records it with your browser's built-in video recorder. There is no server-side processing, which is why your words and videos stay on your device and why the tool is free to use.
It is built and maintained by an independent video creator. Feedback and feature ideas are welcome on the contact page.
